Project 3: Over the whole semester we read numerous pieces from different authors, annotating and making sense of each. This final essay task was to include several pieces of writing, and compare them to the thoughts of David Foster Wallace’s Consider The Lobster. I developed my essay around the moral obligations placed on humans in terms our dining traditions, and how we are placed in this idea of the troubled middle of either not eating meat and loosing traditions, or eating meat and feeling obligated towards the animals.
